We currently use Royal Mail as our courier service to delivery your goods unless delivering locally (see below for details). The postage costs are based on size and weight and will need to be signed for. Our delivery rates are shown below, the most popular being 'up to 3 day delivery'. Many of our items can be delivered under the small to medium parcel category, currently priced at £3.45.
If your order is over £40 we will delivery for free within the UK under the 3 day delivery service
Postage costs are confirmed at the checkout stage. Once you have placed all your items in the basket there is a drop down postage menu were you can choose your delivery method, such as 3 day delivery. Once chosen your postage will be calculate and added to your total order
Once your parcel arrives it will have a document holder attached. This will have your delivery note inside, along with a Returns Form. Please see the Returns / Exchange Section further down this page for more details on returning items.
We aim to despatch your items within 5 working days after we have received your order, but at very busy times this may take longer. Personalised and made to order items may take up to 28 days for delivery, however once your order has been placed, we will contact you with a more specific estimate of delivery. We will post all personalised goods by Royal Mail's 3 Day service unless otherwise stated.
Items required urgenty
Please let us know if any items are required by a particular date, as we will try our best to accommodate and prioritise your order. If you are choosing the 'aim for next day special delivery', please note that this only applies to standard items ordered before 12pm (midday) Monday - Friday.
We can make a local delivery to you at a flat rate of £2.45 per delivery order. The following postcode areas are eligible for our own delivery service. Please note this delivery will need to be signed for.

Just click on the drop down menu in your order check out and select 'local delivery' to choose this option.
Picking Up from and Event
There is a free of charge option of picking up your order from one of the events we attend throughout the year. You can check the event information out from our 'What's On' guide on our home page. If you wish to make an enquiry about this or arrange a pick up, you can email us at email@example.com or click on the 'contact us' button. You will need to provide details of the items you wish to purchase and the desired location for pick up. Please note that we would need to confirm with you that the products ordered would be ready in time for the event

International / Worldwide Shipping Notes
All items that are suitable for international / worldwide shipping will have this stated within the product desciption. Please contact us if you are interested in any other item not marked for international shipping so we can check and confirm if this can be shipped to your destination and what the cost of shipping will be.
Taxes and Duties for items delivered outside UK Mainland
All applicable custom fees, taxes and duties are the sole responsibility of the customer. Custom authorities require that we state the value of your order directly on your package. It is at the sole discretion of custom agents to release your package. Note, in rare occasions custom agents may delay delivery of some packages.
Returns / Exchanges
When placing an order at Light Source Art, you are responsible for original shipping charges, all applicable custom import fees (for international shipping) and arrangement and cost of return back to Light Source Art (with the exception of faulty goods) This also applies to any shipments that are refused by you at delivery.
Please inspect your goods upon delivery and report any claims for shortages and / or damages to us using our website contact us form or telephone within 48 hours of receipt.
You have up to 14 days (from date of receipt) to let us know you wish to return or exchange an item (*see exceptions below) and a following 14 days from when you let us know, to actually return the item. Original outbound postage costs will be refunded for returned items with the exception of a partial order return. In these cases outbound postage will not be refunded as you have retained part of the order that incurred postage costs.
Outbound postage costs will not be refunded on exchange items as we wiil be postng your replacement items back to you. You will not incur any additional postage costs unless your replacement items exceed the original delivery postage cost paid by you. We can advise you of this information once we receive notiication of your exchange request

* personalised items that have been specially made and customised to order,
as these are unique items made to your requirements and therefore cannot be resold.
* art / sculptures and other creative pieces that you have commission ordered
Returning an Item
There will be a returns form inside the document holder on your parcel. Please complete this form and send the parcel back to us with your item(s) in the condition that they were sent, in the original packaging to the address below. Don't forget to send us proof of postage iso we can refund any eligible postage costs. Please see the FAQ section for more details about this.
If for some reason a returns form is missing from your parcel, then please contact us via the 'contact us' button on our site or by email / telephone so we can assist you with your return.
Please let us know you are returning a parcel, by sending us a quick note about the items via our contact us form, or email firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone us. This way, we can expect your order back and it assists us with any replacement or exchange items that you may require, as we can check current stock levels straightaway and reserve any replacement goods.
Please allow up to 14 days from when we receive your parcel for any refunds to be processed.
If there are any problems with an item(s) purchased, please 'contact us'and let us know, as there is always a solution for any problem, but without communication, we will never know.
